Stef Hirsch, B.A. & B.F.A. (Cornell University), M.F.A. (Goldsmiths, University of London), is a New York-based former contemporary art curator turned food systems enthusiast. With nearly a decade spent growing Indiewalls—a company known for curating contemporary art for some of the world’s biggest brands—Stef oversaw large-scale hospital art programs before finding herself increasingly drawn to what was on patients’ plates instead of their walls. Stef brings a creative eye and research-driven mindset to the world of food as medicine. Her interests are focused on nutrient density and its deep ties to sustainable farming practices. Currently she is investing in regenerative food systems and deepening her knowledge with the goal of contributing meaningfully to the transformation of how we grow, eat, and relate to food and the environment. Stef lives in Riverdale, NY with her 8 chickens, 2 children, 1 husband, and ever-growing garden.
