Protein is an essential nutrient that is necessary for building and maintaining healthy muscles, bones, and tissues. In recent decades, health trends have shifted away from the low-fat crazes of the ‘80s and ‘90s, and more focus has been placed on high-protein diets–not only for losing weight but also for reducing body fat and building muscle.
