Jasmin Hossain, Ph.D
Dr. Jasmin Akther Hossain earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Long Island University, where her research focused on the pharmacokinetics of opioid drugs in the human brain. She specializes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling of drugs, along with conducting systematic research on scientific papers and analyzing data using the R programming language. Dr. Hossain collaborated on and published research regarding medicinal plants, investigating their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective effects. She has also presented her findings at events such as AAPS PharmSci360 and the NIH/BARDA seminar on Naloxone pharmacokinetics. In addition to her pharmaceutical research, Dr. Hossain has a strong interest in exploring the potential health benefits and risks associated with dietary supplements on cardiac health and vitality, as well as promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
